Audition for Sin the P with G, Went well. Sang a little ditty from The R. Saw the very charming (but always very businesslike) Mr Donovan. If you're stage and you come to LA, you will end up in front of him on more than one occasion. Be ready my friends - you won't get another chance if you suck!
Had a screening for a friend's film at midnight (the hire is cheaper) in a wonderful cinema on Wilshire. Unfortunately, the film was somewhat lacking in many departments. I'm happy to report that my friend was great but there was woefully little of her (not being biased!). The rest of the casting was suspect, the cinematography was poor, the sound (probably THE most important thing) was TERRIBLE, the acting (with a few exceptions) was, well, sad and the story was weak and poorly executed. 20 year old director who did manage to get his film shot, edited and screened but he has a LOT to learn. Very very tired but we still had something to shoot which we did in about 2 minutes flat. Bed at 2.30.
