Lunch at the fabbo (but rather expensive) 50's diner on Santa Monica Blvd and then onto the beach! We gave Monkey some 'starter' roller skates and we wandered up the beach, him in between us, one arm each, much to the amusement of most of the people who passed us. Found a playground and had some fun. Back along the beach as the sun dropped in the sky castung rich orange tones across the beach and the oceanside buildings. I do miss Blighty sometimes but not today!
