Called Shane yesterday about the G show and she asked if I could come in today for a BK commercial. She is such a sweetheart.
Headed in for 12.30. Call at 1 (remember, I had to be in Malibu for 2).
When I got there, the place was packed but luckily for the audition before mine. Same product, different character. Finally went in for 1.20!!
5 at a time (that's pretty normal, kids) and the little skit we had to do was to appear to be waiting while the King to be asleep (to camera) and then change our expression as if the King had just woken up. A little spooky but that's how BK like their commercials.
Jumped in the car (I'd already called the SM to say I was going to be late) and headed West.
We had new lines and a new end to set (hey, the show's a whole two days away - no worries) and following that, we did the equivalent of two and a half dress rehearsals.
They all went well!! We're on track and basically, we're polishing everything.
Still juggling tickets!! I probably will be until a hour or two before Thursday's show.
Fixed M's lappie with the new cable from the UK and it bllody works, doesn't it! Fantastic.
