Brilliant! Just found this! It's a movie of the sonic banana midi controller. He's so serious =) Beautiful gadget!

Saw it on Rocketboom. It's going to become daily viewing for me. I think it should be for you too!

llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogochuchaf is the longest name of a town in the World. It means "Saint Mary's Church in the hollow of the white hazel near a rapid whirlpool and the Church of St. Tysilio of the red cave." It's in Wales, you know. Just wanted to start today's note with something welsh in honour of Sir Anthony's win at the Golden Globes last night.

Anyway... littl'un has a MAJOR cold and his little nose is very red. Ahhhh.
Hope I don't get it as I cannot be ill right now. It's the most work I had in a long time and I have to be fit and well! Unfortunately, I tend to get everything he gets! Ah well...
L 'phoned with an offer to be in her movie short (possibly featurette). Excellent news - I have no doubt that it's a superb story. Gary to shoot possibly and she has a young actor/director whom she raves over. I trust her judgement.
Callback's for Steve's movie are going to be in a week or two, venue shifted from PV. No probs - the new venue is somewhere rather special in Beverly Hills!
Add the PHW movie to that and that's three movies I hope to be busy with over the summer. Prob two of them in HD and the third in 24P. Can't get much better than that. Fabbo!

Seems Drew Barrymore drew a LOT of interest from her 'no-bra' appearance on the Golden Globes last night. I admit that her puppies did look like they were trying to escape from the 'interestingly' green dress she was wearing by making a break for it underneath each armpit. Does she care? I doubt it.

Other stuff...
Golden Globes from a Brit perspective. Gawd bless ya, guv'nor!
Lo-Jack would've found it a bit sooner methinks. Great story about the owner of a Corvette sports car stolen when it was brand new in 1969 is to be reunited with the vehicle after it was finally found, 37 years later.

Start of another wondrous week.
I had the bedsheets removed from my back and my slippers put on my unwilling feet at 6.50am by a three foot monster saying 'Breakfast, Daddy, breakfast". I'm getting up then, am I? It would appear so.
Another early morning gave me a chance to browse the web (and, of course, catch up on some Thomas, Charlie Brown, Bob and various other Tivo-archived kiddie entertainment).
Blimey, did you know that a satellite receiver box in the UK managed to broadcast a emergency distress signal which scrambled the Coastguard? Weird! Read about it here...
Off to class. Worked with A who was looking very smart - cut hair, shirt and trousers, dress shoes and a whole different attitute. Apparently the ultimatum he was given was smarten up and get serious or get out. Seemed to work!
Was totally in the moment today. EP went extraordinarily well and was totally open and available. Felt good. T was very pleased.
Movie meeting afterwards. B, Y, R and I discussed R's opening and synopsis. Wasn't entirely comfortable with the cheese factor. Felt that B who was going to be the main lead had to have a reason to have sold the thing most dear to him. So, I came up with one, which we all fleshed out and agreed that it would be B's back story and the opening of the movie.
Golden Globe night tonight. My goodness, what a lot of Brits, either presenting or receiving. Hey hey, we won a few too! Marvellous. The only thing that bugged me was Queen Latifa's opening speech. I'm not going to go into it here...
Many congrats to Sir Anthony Hopkins. Rule Britannia!

Here's a cool page from the NYTimes outlining a Year of Ideas
How about turning your XP PC into a Mac (or at least change the desktop so it looks and acts like one)!

It's pretty damn windy here, boys and girls! The palm tree in our front garden is whooshing around and dropping huge leafy branches on top of the house. Great!
Read scripts for the CC job and the first coupla' page draft for our PHW movie. The opening is excellent!!
Griswold family walk in the sun this afternoon, nice!
The littl'un is upping his 'No' usage and waiting until I'm raising my voice to menacing levels before he 'hears' me and actually does what I ask him to do. Typical toddler then, I suppose!
Watched all eight chapters (2 DVD) of Empire falls. Rather good, actually. Nice cast, worth a watch if you get the time.

Few things in the news...
Very sad news about a bunch of cyclists back home, out for a ride last Sunday

Want to logon and surf anonymously but don't have a degree from OxBridge? Well, this is for you. Read about it here and download it here. Totally Grannie friendly. =)

Always sad? Can't pick yourself up. Always had enough of life? It's probably what you eat. Very important news about diets over the last 50 years having a major impact on the number of mentally ill people wondering around.

Blah kinda day today...
Managed to find some time for the movies. We went to see "Rumor has it". First of all, Rumor should have a 'u' in it! Kidding...
Thank heavens for Shirley MacLaine is all I can say. Everyone else was fine but the production values weren't what one would expect. Apparently, there was 'trouble at mill' which may account for slightly ragged areas cropping up throughout.
